I draw inspiration from my surroundings and aim to capture my chosen subject with sensitivity and feeling.

 

Painting predominantly en plein air grants a refreshing immediacy to my paintings. I engage with changing light and its effects on the natural hues of my subject matter. Colour and movement are highlighted to convey a feeling of vibrant life.
